What Size Snatch Strap do i require for my Vehicle?

Most 4x4 vehicles will only require a 8,000kg Snatch Strap. If are towing or have canopy installed that is fully loaded we would then suggest you carry an 11,000kg Snatch Strap. We would only suggest a 15,000kg Snatch for commercial use or for those who may be towing a Caravan or large boat behind their vehicle on their travels.

When should i replace my Snatch Strap?

A snatch can last many years! If you keep them dry out of the sun & sand/dust free you can get many years use of your Snatch Strap. But once the Snatch has been torn, it would be advised to update your Snatch Strap.

Should i attach the straps directly to the front of the vehicle?

We suggest for a safer recovery, practice using adapting an equaliser strap/5m tree trunk protecter to the vehicle to both left and right points of the vehicle, then adapting the snatch strap to the the 2 ends of the tree trunk Protector. And for extra Safety place a winch dampener on the straps.
