Back in 2016, we released the original Type-X™ and completely disrupted the high performance driving light market. With the introduction of our PRO Edition, we are yet again redefining the auxiliary driving light category. Our all-new Type-X™ PRO edition epitomizes our commitment to maximizing light output and reliability at levels that surpass the most respected players in the industry.
1.15KM BEAM THROW
Using the latest optic simulation modeling, the reflector geometry was tweaked over and over again to achieve a highly-functional beam pattern. No doubt the attention grabber is the unrelenting beam distance of 1.155km, however, the real strength of our Type-X™ PRO is in mid to long-range light distribution that really sets it apart. An astonishing beam throw coupled with a homogeneous wide beam will have you insist on driving only when the sun's down.
YOUR LIGHTS YOUR WAY.
Pink? Green? Blue? Orange? Grey or all Black? The choice is yours. We've designed the inner ring fasteners to be independent of the main sealing structure, allowing you to change the colour that best suits. We've included grey and orange in the kit to get you started, or if you prefer all black, simply don't fit any ring at all. Our coloured filters and iconic STEDI smile covers are backward compatible too.

Forget folded steel brackets 3mm 4mm or 5mm it's all yesterday's news. Type-X™ PRO is all about pushing boundaries, the bracket system is a 10mm thick high-pressure die-cast aluminum marvel of engineering. Ribbed in all the right places to ensure no vibration and no prospect for fatigue. Our Type-X™ PRO bracket was designed to withstand extreme and prolonged corrugations time and time again. True to STEDI's signature design principles we’ve added brushed stainless steel shoulder plates, which will look just as comfortable on a tricked out 70 series as it will be mounted to a PRO race buggy.

Cutting edge performance starts with cutting edge LED technology. To achieve genuine category-leading performance our Type-X™ Pro is equipped with 37 x Oslon High-Flux LEDs, selected for having the #1 highest lumen density per mm2 of any other comparable LED on the market. Compared to the two other leading spotlights brands similar offerings, the LEDs used in Type-X™ PRO have + 23% and +42% higher lumen density per mm2 in comparison. The net result is higher net light volume and unrivaled beam throw.
A WOLF IN WOLF’S CLOTHING
The hard-coated optical grade lens shares the same DNA as ballistic glass making it virtually indestructible. A UV stabiliser has also been added to ensure our lenses truly withstand the test of time with no discolouring or UV degradation. This has allowed us to do away with any secondary lens covers or filters which are known to significantly reduce light transmission.

No doubt the attention grabber is the unrelenting beam distance of 1,155m (tested in pairs, combo beam), however, the real strength of our Type-X™ PRO is in mid to long light distribution that really sets it apart.
Our key focus was on driver confidence, by increasing the beam throw the driver has longer analysis time. We maximised driver comfort by smoothing out the beam eliminating shadows. We reduced the light wasted in unimportant zones like treetops and immediately in front of the vehicle. The result is a homogeneous, unrelenting beam that will support you well in any adventure. .
Unlike our competitors, each Type-X™ PRO lamp has 6 built-in flood reflectors for improved light distribution out into the road shoulders. The built-in wide-beam reflector eliminates the need to add any wide beam covers, which are not only less efficient at distributing light, covers also withhold valuable light transmission.SPECIFICATIONS

SHIPPING POLICY
- Shipping is available within Australia only. No international delivery.
- If all items in your order are in stock, they will be dispatched witthin 2-3 busniess days.
- We Don't ship to P.O. boxes.
- Delivery times vary based on location. Please allow 2-14 business days for delivery.

Click & Collect is available at no additional charge from our Sydney and Brisbane warehouses.

Shipping Damage: Unless you opt for delivery insurance, we are not responsible for any damage caused during shipping.

Failed Delivery/Pickup
If an item is returned to us due to a failed delivery attempt or because the customer did not collect it from AusPost or the depot, the customer will be responsible for covering the shipping cost for re-delivery.
Re-Delivery or Redirect Shipment
If your shipment requires re-delivery due to a failed delivery attempt or needs to be redirected to a different address after dispatch, additional shipping charges will apply.
New Charges: Any re-delivery or redirection will incur extra fees, which must be paid before the shipment is rescheduled. Charges vary based on the courier and location.
To avoid delays or extra costs, please ensure the correct address is provided at checkout and someone is available to receive the delivery.
Refund Requests: If the customer chooses to cancel the order instead of re-delivery, the original shipping charges will not be refunded. Only the product cost will be eligible for a refund.
Please ensure accurate delivery details and timely collection to avoid additional charges.
RETURNS & WARRANTY POLICY
- Professional installation is recommended. We are not responsible for any damage caused during installation and will not issue refunds for such cases.
- Return Authorization: Before returning or exchanging an item, you must contact us with the item ID and reason for return/exchange.
- Inspection on Arrival: Please inspect your order for any manufacturer defects or shipping damage upon arrival. Contact us immediately if there is an issue.
- Change of Mind Returns: We accept change of mind returns, but a 20% restocking and admin fee will be deducted from the refund.
- Return Deadline: Items must be returned within 15 days of delivery.
- Late Returns: Returns will not be accepted if you contact us after 15 days from the date of delivery.
- Minor scratches are not considered manufacturing defects.
- Return Location: All returns must be sent to our Sydney or Brisbane warehouse.
- Refund Process: Refunds will only be processed after we have received and inspected the item also to the same payment method you paid with.
- Complete Returns: Items must be returned with all accessories. If any accessories are missing or damaged during return shipping, we will deduct the cost from the refund.
- The warranty will be voided if any products are modified to fit, including cutting, grinding, shaving, screwing, or any other alterations, unless prior written or emailed approval has been obtained from Rockarmor head office

- Pay for shipping to send the item back to us.
- Pay for shipping when we send the replacement or repaired item back to you.
LAY-BY POLICY
- Aussie Offroad offers a 3-month lay-by on all products.
- The item must be paid in full and picked up within 3 months from the purchase date.
- If the 3-month period is exceeded, you still have the option to pay off the invoice and collect the item.
- Lay-by cancellations: If you choose to cancel your lay-by, all payments made will be non-refundable.
