Been running mine for about a year without an issue. I like the display a lot, including power draw reading. Run my microwave and coffee machine without an issue. Don't need it for my off-road camper air-con, given it is 12V. However, I agree on the need for 2AG connection cables. The more you draw, and especially in short bursts, the greater the need for an unencumbered energy flow from your 12V batteries.

Small enough to place under the front seats in its original box.
Makes it so easy to access items in the middle of the roof racks or in my case rooftop tent.
Only flaw is that box shows an orange colour but it is an actually grey. So if you have a grey colour car like mine you might forget it is there before closing the door.
But a coloured spray can will fix that and considering how cheap the item costs it is really not an issue.
