One of the most significant items that can get your vehicle out of strife is a Snatch Strap. The strap is manufactured from elastic material that has the ability to stretch to extreme lengths. When used correctly, the snatch strap elasticity will create a “snatching” effect that can then pluck out your vehicle from its immobile position.
THE BIGGEST ONE IS NOT ALWAYS BEST!
At Aussie off-road Megastores, you will find 3 different Snatch straps on offer. When choosing your snatch strap, the vehicle’s Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) should be taken into account. Each strap comes with a minimum breaking strength rating; 8,000kg, 11,000kg, 15,000kg. Your snatch strap should have a minimum breaking strength of 2 to 3 times greater then GVM of your vehicle.
If the snatch strap minimum breaking strength is greater then 2 to 3 times the GVM of your vehicle, the snatch strap may not achieve its full stretch and could result in damaging your vehicle and leaving your vehicle stuck in its immobile position.
